Tell us about yourself: Hi! I’m Hannah! (Crazy Hannah). I am a teacher, a dog mom, rugby player, and married to a former model.
What made you want to start CrossFit? I had always played sports, but I wanted to be stronger and healthier than ever! One of my friends had said I would love it, and BOOM she was right.
What is your proudest CrossFit moment or best CrossFit memory? I HONESTLY love every day at FCF. To name a few of my fave moments: “You got it, babe”, solo workouts with Andy, deadlift PR with Justin and Jim, “It’s your journey”, Murph, the Open, nutrition challenge results, GoT talks, and gold stars. I think my proudest would be an Open workout from this year the one with the overhead dumbbell lunges. I was DYING, but I set a goal and got there! Also there was cheering happening, which always pushes me.
What is a tip you would give someone considering CrossFit or new to CrossFit? Stop thinking about it and just come on in!! Your only competition is yourself; we are all just here trying to be our best selves!
What impact has CrossFit had on you in and out of the gym? I feel so bad ass and confident. I am much stronger, happier, and healthier than I have been in the past! Of course, I have made new friends in the midst of all the working out too!!
What makes CrossFit different from other fitness programs you have tried in the past? It is like being a part of a team. Everyone is rooting for you. I like that there is always a plan to be followed, and a coach to guide you to your goals.
If you could create a WOD, what would it contain? Oh boy! I love snatches.
Anything else you would like to add? FCF is so much more than working out; it is #fitfam. Ain’t no party like an FCF party.
